Hi. Welcome to my blog!
I am a volleyball+gaming+film fanatic, serial entrepreneur, senior video game developer, and technical lead who decided to retire young to spend full time doing the things I love with the people I love while the world is still beautiful.
I’ve reached a point in my life where I value my time more than the “fun” of endlessly grinding to increase a digital net worth number that nobody cares about. I don’t want a bigger house. I don’t want a fancier car. I don’t want to eat more expensive, tasty but unhealthy food that will end up ending my life sooner. My favorite things in life cost almost nothing. My favorite people won’t be here forever.
All I want is time to appreciate the wonderful world we live in, the people in it, and all of the amazing “artwork” we have created: things as diverse as video games, cuisines, architecture, novels, languages, and, of course, beautiful volleyball plays =p.
I plan on re-experiencing all of my favorite things, learning everything I can about every culture and every story, and discovering how to gamify every aspect of my life. Feel free to come along for the ride!

(P.S. Maybe I’m being selfish by living this way. Maybe I owe humanity more, but I just don’t have the time. I have parents that I’ll never feel I’ve spent enough time with, a nephew and niece that will never be this young again, an amazing brother that I want to hang out more with, close friends and relationships I want to nurture, and people and local communities that I adore and want to support. And, lastly, I need significant time for myself. I think we all have our own way of contributing to the world, and we have to live the way that feels most authentic to ourselves. Retiring early and appreciating and cataloging life will be mine, and I hope I can inspire others to live the life they truly want to live, even if it’s very different from what “the world” expects it to be.)
